Ethiopian Foreign minister tries to get Colonel Abdullahi and his first minister, Gheddi, closer.

Ethiopian minister for foreign affaires, Siom Musfin, comes to Baydhabo where Meles representatives for Somali affaires, Colonel Abdullahi and Gheddi are located. These two representatives vie who becomes the first man for Meles. These two representatives were degraded to a point where a minister can come to them without prior notice. Their counterparts never come to them.

 Colonel Abdullahi and Gheddi had disagreements about Ethiopia's role in Somalia. Gheddi was promoted where the Colonel lost his position.

 Some source say Mr. Musfin came to Baydhabo to convince Colonel Abdullahi to accept his new position and work with Gheddi. Mr. Musfin's visit came after Colonel Abdullahi refused to go to Addis Ababa to see Meles Zanawi. On the other hand, Mr. Gheddi accused Colonel Abdullahi that he is behind the collapse of his puppet goverment. Knowing that accusation and how brutal Ethiopia's prison is, Colonel abdullahi has to think twice before he goes anywhere.
