Tuesday, Septembar 19, 2006 Ethiopia plans bloodshed between Transitional Government and the United Somali Courts (USC)Baidoa, Somalia
Reliable sources tell that the Colonel's assassination attempt was organized by the Ethiopian government. Mercenaries who are in Baidoa to protect the weak government are loyal to Ethiopian dictator, Meles Zanawi. These mercenaries take orders from the Dictator, Meles Zanawi. The Dr. has shown more loyalty to the dictator than the Colonel. Accusation and counter accusation about their loyalty and disloyalty were passed to the big boss. The dictator tried to mediate between the two but in vain. Finally, Meles decided the Dr. to be the #1 man where the Colonel disagreed. The Colonel tried to get rid off the Dr. but couldn't do so. The conflict between the Colonel and the Dr. increased to a level where each one plans to assassinate the other. Ethiopia's plan to divide Somalia in order to conquer seems to be working. This attempt to kill the Colonel was to spark fight between the United Somali Courts (USC) headed by Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys in Mogadishu and the Colonel's mercenaries in Baidoa. Ethiopia's plan is not only limited to the above motive but the following: --To get acceptance for the request of lifting Somalia's weapon embargo from the UN. --To get acceptance for the Ethiopian Troops to protect weak puppet government. --To claim that United Somali Courts (USC) are terrorist in Mogadishu. --To show the world that the Somalis can not take control of their country. --To get leading role about resolving Somali affaires and conflicts. --Etc. However, the colonel is aging and the dictator needs the young Dr. to serve. The dictator, who enjoys the blood of Somalis being shed, has blood on his hands by organizing this attempt to kill the colonel, who is about to retire serving Ethiopia.
