United Slummy Courts (USC) took over Jilib

 United Slummy Courts (USC) militias led by Hassan Turkey took over the city of Jilib,Middle Jubba, without any resistance. Reliable sources tell that some JVA militias in the city simply welcomed the USC militias where militias loyal to JVA relocated to unspecified locations.  

USC militias that took over the city were heavily armed and wearing turbans on the head covering their faces and chanting "Allahu Akbar". The leader, Hassan Turkey, could not be seen in the streets of Jilib though he is expected to deliver speech very soon.

This came after the JVA leaders disagreed their policy towards United Slummy Courts. JVA army commander, Mr. Goobaale and vice-chairman of JVA, Mr. Seeraar who happen to be the same clan as of USC leader, Hassan Dahir Aweys, have the notion of welcoming and transferring power to USC where the chairman of JVA, Barre Hiiraale was against.

USC militias is expected to proceed to port city of Kismayu and it is not known whether they will be welcomed or meet resistance.  

United Slummy Courts which control much of Southern Somalia opposed the creation of Jubbaland regional government and the so called Baydhabo based Somali government. United Slummy Courts do not have clear documentation (constitution) other than the notion of creating clan dominated slummy courts. In other words, these courts persecute people in a cruel manner and constantly harass  people's way of living.
