The port city of Kismayu falls into the hands of United Slummy Courts (USC)

 The regional capital of Lower Jubba, Kismayu, was captured by the United Slummy Courts. The USC militias did not meet any resistance from the JVA militias. Some high ranking JVA officers welcomed the USC militias who immediately  took control the port and the airport.

The leader of the militias received a congratulating call from his superior, Hassan Dahir Aweys. It is not known what the next move will be but the pressure shifts to Baydhabo where the puppet government protected by Ethiopia is residing. 

Some people in Kismayu particularly the youth whom their basic freedom will be deprived are worried. One local youth told jlo that the entertainment industry like sports, movies, swimming, etc. will exist no more. Some others grew beard and will join the USC militias.

Hassan Dahir Aweys, Sheikh Yusuf Indha'adde, Seeraar, Abdiqasim Salad Hassan and Goobaale are believed to be discussing who will be in charge of the city. Indha'adde wants either Seeraar or Goobaale if not for himself where Abdiqasim and Hassan Dahir want Hassan Turkey to run the place in order to divert focus from their clan.
